Junior Behaviour Therapist

We are looking for people who are passionate about working with children and adolescents, and making a significant difference in their lives!

Applied Behaviour Analysis is a research-based intervention using the underlying principles of behaviour to help reduce behaviours of concern and teach individuals appropriate life skills as they grow. As part of this role, we will support you in attaining the Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) qualification.

We're looking for therapists to connect with families in the West, South West and North West Sydney areas.

Your responsibilities as a Junior Therapist include:

  • Playing and building rapport with your clients

  • Working directly with clients to implement ABA Programs

  • Collecting data

  • Working directly under a supervising therapist

  • Applying ABA principles into your therapy

  • Debriefing with your client's families after session

  • Maintaining all required paperwork for sessions

Requirement for the role:

  • Paid Working With Children Check Clearance

  • National Police Certificate

  • Method of transportation to/from sessions (driver's licence is highly desired)

Experience is not necessary for this role, as long as you come with passion and a willingness to learn! Everyone starts with limited experience at some point, and we will provide the support necessary to build your skills.

Roles are offered on a needs basis and must fit within our clients' schedules. Therefore, roles are typically offered on a casual or part-time basis. This role involves travel; however, wherever possible, we endeavour to keep clients clustered within close radius to where the therapist lives.
